3 years agoLos Angeles Angels first baseman Jared Walsh will head into the weekend slugging .767 over his last seven games. It has been a very strong first half for the 27-year-old and has two doubles and four home runs during his recent power surge. Through his first 312 at-bats this season, the young slugger has 22 doubles, 22 home runs, 46 runs scored and 64 runs batted in. Walsh is posting a .985 OPS with runners in scoring position and is poised to have a career season. He may not, however, have the highest DFS ceiling against the Mariners projected starter Marco Gonzales on Friday. Walsh is hitting only .178 against left-handed pitching this season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
