4 years agoLos Angeles Angels first baseman Jared Walsh and the team will take the day off Thursday before gearing up to host the Twins beginning Friday. Walsh is off to a promising start, collecting at least one hit in eight of his first 10 starts. Through his first 37 at-bats, the young slugger already has three home runs, 10 runs batted in and is slashing .324/.419/.649. The 27-year-old will continue to lose at-bats to future Hall of Famer Albert Pujols from time to time but Walsh should see the lion's share of the playing time moving forward.--Joey C - RotoBaller
