4 years agoSan Francisco Giants left-handed pitcher Jarlin Garcia has been reinstated off of the 60-day injured list ahead of Sunday’s contest against the Dodgers. Garcia made 53 appearances last season out of relief for Miami, producing a 3.02 ERA with a 1.11 WHIP. He was particularly difficult to hit at pitcher’s friendly Marlins Park, where he limited opposing batters to a .443 OPS. With San Francisco’s bullpen prime for competition, Garcia could step in and compete, although how close he may be to earning save opportunities is unclear. He can remain on the waiver wire for the time being.--Jesse Borek
