3 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Jarred Kelenic is now represented by Nick Chanock of Wasserman, according to a source. A lot was expected of Kelenic when he debuted with the Mariners last season, but he fell well short of those expectations when he hit just .181/.265/.350 with 14 home runs, 43 RBI, six stolen bases and 41 runs scored in his first 93 major league games over 377 plate appearances. Despite his first-season struggles, the 22-year-old outfielder has plenty of upside going forward, and the Mariners could look to sign him to a contract extension once the lockout is over.
