Jarred Kelenic Hits Opposite-Field Home Run
3 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Jarred Kelenic went deep for the sixth time Saturday against the Toronto Blue Jays, lining a Trevor Richards pitch over the left-field wall. It was his only hit in four at-bats. Kelenic has been surging of late, with his adjustment clear to see. He'd been pounded away by right-handed pitching, and this home run is yet another sign that Kelenic knows how he's being attacked. With an .895 OPS and four homers in his last 15 games, now is the time to add Kelenic if frustrated fantasy managers have moved on from him.
