Jarred Kelenic Homers In Second Straight Triple-A Game
4 years agoSeattle Mariners outfield prospect Jarred Kelenic went 1-for-3 with his second home run in as many nights. He was recently demoted to the minors after a truncated visit to the majors. After going hitless in his first two games back in Triple-A, Kelenic is 4-for-11 (.364) with a double, two homers, and two steals over his past four contests. Combining his earlier stint in the minors, the 21-year-old is now hitting .304 with four homers and four steals in 11 games. At the MLB level, he hit just .096 with two homers and three steals in 23 games. Despite his early struggles at the big league level, Kelenic remains neck-and-neck with fellow Mariners prospect Julio Rodriguez as the top outfield prospect in dynasty baseball.
