3 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Jarred Kelenic hit his ninth homer of the season Saturday, knocking a solo shot off Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Humberto Castellanos in the fourth inning of a 7-3 defeat. It was his only hit in four at-bats. Kelenic now has a hit in seven of his nine September games, with four extra-base hits in that span, but even so he's still only managed a .289 on-base percentage for the month. There are signs that he's coming around, but he still shouldn't be active down the stretch of the season for fantasy managers.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
