4 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Jarred Kelenic is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's matchup with the Padres. This looks to be simply a day off for the promising rookie, who had played in each of the team's last nine games since his call-up. While he has been one of the more hyped up prospects in fantasy this year, he's gotten off to a sluggish start for his career, as he's slashing .139/.205/.278 with one home run, one steal, three RBI and two runs scored. Hopefully this day off will give him a chance to reset and retool his approach at the plate, as Sam Haggerty will get the start in left and bat sixth against San Diego starter Yu Darvish.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
