2 years agoThe Seattle Mariners are calling up outfield prospect Jarred Kelenic from Triple-A Tacoma on Sunday. It's unknown if he'll be in the starting lineup on Sunday against Houston Astros right-hander Jake Odorizzi, but there's a good chance he will be with rookie Julio Rodriguez (hand) leaving Saturday's game early after being hit by a pitch. Kelenic went just 12-for-86 (.140) with three home runs, 10 RBI, 10 runs scored and four stolen bases in 30 games for the M's earlier this year before being sent down. He was much better at Tacoma, slashing .288/.353/.550 with a .903 OPS, 11 long balls, 37 RBI, 34 runs scored and three stolen bases in 54 games. The 23-year-old should regularly be in Seattle's lineup, and his blend of power and speed makes him roster-worthy in all fantasy formats now that he's back in the bigs.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
