Jarred Kelenic Scores Twice, Steals A Bag
3 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Jarred Kelenic had a strong game Wednesday, going 2-for-4 with two runs scored and his fifth stolen base of the year. He came close to ending the game with a walk-off double, but he struck out after the ball was ruled just foul, and Seattle went on to lose 9-4 in 10 innings. Kelenic has posted a truly dismal .547 OPS in 283 at-bats this season, but with 10 homers and five steals, the fantasy upside could be immense. He's slugging .500 over his last seven games, which hopefully will serve as a preview for 2022.
