Jarren Duran Optioned To Triple-A Worcester
2 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran has been optioned to Triple-A Worcester on Saturday. The 25-year-old center fielder has struggled mightily this season, putting up a lackluster .220/.283/.365 triple-slash line to go along with three home runs, 17 RBI, and seven stolen bases over 200 at-bats. He'll try and rebuild his confidence in Triple-A as the Red Sox look to keep their shrinking playoff hopes alive without him. There's still some long-term upside here but Duran has a .218 batting average and .624 OPS in 307 career at-bats at the major league level.
