Jarvis Landry a WR3 Against Jets on Monday Night
5 years agoCleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry posted four receptions for 67 yards in his team's season opener against the Tennessee Titans last week. The veteran wideout will look to build upon those numbers in Week 2 when he takes on the New York Jets on Monday night. The Jets will mostly use slot corner Brian Poole to try to slow Landry. That is a matchup that Landry should be able to win as Poole has earned a 60.6 grade from Pro Football Focus since the beginning of the 2018 season. The Browns have issues along the offensive line, which may force them to call more short and intermediate passes in Week 2, the type of routes that Landry specializes in. That being said, Landry's usage with the Browns since Todd Haley was during last season has not been voluminous enough to trust him as anything more than a WR3 in PPR leagues and a weak flex in standard formats.
