Jarvis Landry Catches Eight Balls In Win
6 years agoCleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry caught eight of his 15 targets for 103 yards in his team's 21-17 win over the New York Jets on Thursday. Landry also added a two-point completion to quarterback Baker Mayfield in the game. The veteran receiver had a slow first half but came alive after Mayfield entered the game for concussed starter Tyrod Taylor. Landry also made the catch of the game when he hauled in a contested, 29-yard pass down the seam which brought the Browns down to New York's one-yard line. Landry was a solid WR2 with Taylor under center and should flirt with solid WR1 production now that Mayfield is starting. He draws a fantastic matchup in Week 4 against the Oakland Raiders.
