Jarvis Landry, Odell Beckham Jr. Set to Dominate
5 years agoAlthough Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry dealt with an undisclosed injury through most of the summer, he seems to have made it through the preseason setback-free and is ready to dominate as a PPR machine for the Browns. It can be argued that Landry will see less volume in the Browns passing attack after the addition of Odell Beckham Jr., but you could also argue that Beckham will take defensive attention away from Landry. Landry has never been a big yardage or yards-per-catch guy, but that's fine because that's Beckham's role. Landry has had spotty, at best, quarterback play throughout his career, and Baker Mayfield in Year 2 figures to be the best distributor that Landry has ever been paired with. In addition, with Beckham, David Njoku, Nick Chubb and eventually Kareem Hunt in the fold, teams will need to pick their poison in attempting to stop Cleveland. In summary, Landry should offer a solid 10-point-per-game floor in PPR, as you can expect about five catches and at least 50 yards a week, but every once in a while he will bust out for 100-plus yards and a score if teams decide to shut down Beckham. Landry is shaping up to be a nice pick at his 63 ADP as the 27th receiver off the board.
