Jarvis Landry Ruled Out With Knee Injury
3 years agoCleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry (knee) won't return in Week 2, with the team fearing that Landry has a sprained MCL. Usually, that injury keeps a player sidelined for two to four weeks. Landy had one catch for nine yards in this game. No wide receiver on the team has more than two catches at this time, with tight ends Harrison Bryant and Austin Hooper combining for eight catches. If Landry misses time, the Browns would spend more time throwing to the tight ends, but Rashard Higgins, rookie Anthony Schwartz and Donovan Peoples-Jones would see increased usage as well until Odell Beckham Jr. (knee) makes his season debut.
