Jarvis Landry Signs Huge Extension With Browns
7 years agoThe Cleveland Browns and wide receiver Jarvis Landry have agreed on a huge contract extension a little over a month after he was acquired from the Miami Dolphins in a trade. The deal will be for five years and $75.5 million, with a massive $47 million guaranteed. Landry has proven his worth as a reliable slot receiver but a crowded Cleveland pass-catching corps may make it hard for him to repeat the sheer number of targets he used to see in Miami. Landry will begin the 2018 season as the fifth highest paid receiver in the NFL. Odell Beckham Jr. and Brandin Cooks, both of whom are entering the last year of their rookie deals, have to be licking their chops at the prospect of their upcoming pay days.
