Jarvis Landry Tests Positive For COVID-19
3 years agoCleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry has tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday, which adds to a long list of positive tests in the Cleveland locker room. Landry joins offensive tackle Jedrick Wills Jr., offensive guard Wyatt Teller, defensive end Takkarist McKinley, offensive guard Drew Forbes, wide receiver JoJo Natson, and tight end Ross Travis. The Browns have been placed in intensive protocols due to their high case count, which is less than ideal as they play on Saturday against the Las Vegas Raiders. This is a situation to monitor because of the short week, so it may be a challenge for Landry to be cleared in time for Saturday. If he is vaccinated, two negative tests within 24 hours would be enough to clear him. If unvaccinated, he will be ineligible to play on Saturday because of the minimum of 10 days that he would have to be sidelined. If Landry can't play, Donovan Peoples-Jones and Rashard Higgins would likely see more significant playing time.
