Jarvis Landry Wants To Stay In Cleveland
3 years agoCleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry said that he would "like to stay" with the team but added that he's confident he can still contribute for another team in "winning a championship." Landry battled injuries mostly all of last season, beginning with a knee sprain suffered in Week 2. The 29-year-old pass-catcher finished with 52 catches for 570 yards and just two touchdowns in 12 games played. Landry is heading into the final year of his contract in 2022, but he has no guaranteed money left on his deal, so the Browns could easily decide to move on. The five-time Pro Bowl would likely be the team's No. 1 receiver if he stays in Cleveland, albeit in a run-first offense. Landry could have some value in PPR leagues, but at this point in his career, there's not much upside, especially in the touchdown department.
