Jarvis Landry's Playing Time Could Be Game-Plan Dependent
4 years agoAfter having hip surgery in February, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry (hip) has been taking part in roughly every other practice since training camp began. While he hasn't been listed on the injury report this week, Landry could see reduced snaps early in the season. Landry told reporters via Zoom, "How much [I’ll play] will be, as far as game plan-wise, up to the coaches. I’m still getting better. I’m still improving and taking each and every day to work on the things that I need to work on to make sure I’m healthy out there and make sure I can go out there and compete and help this team to win games.” The fact that the Browns aren't ready to deploy Landry in a full-time role isn't great news for fantasy gamers relying on him to be their WR2/3 this season. Downgrade Landry to a shaky flex, at best, for his Week 1 showdown against the Baltimore Ravens.
