Jason Heyward Steals Base In Victory
4 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Jason Heyward went 1-for-4 with a single, a stolen base and run scored in Tuesday's victory versus the New York Mets. Heyward picked up the Cubs first hit of the game in the bottom of the fourth inning with two outs and that would rally the Cubs to score two runs in the inning and knockout starter Taijuan Walker. Heyward is now hitting .200 and has one home run, two RBI and one stolen base. The veteran doesn't offer much offensively and should be left on the waiver wire in all formats.
