6 years agoCleveland Indians first baseman Jason Kipnis left Friday's game early after tweaking his hamstring on a stolen base attempt. Indians manager Terry Francona said that his exit was merely precautionary, and that holds true as Kipnis is back in the lineup for Saturday's game. Kipnis is having a down year at the plate, carrying a dismal .218 average. His power numbers are alright, with seven home runs and 35 RBI, but Kipnis is not a reliable fantasy option at this stage of his career. He would only be worth a roster spot in very deep AL-Only leagues.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
