Jason Pierre-Paul Undergoes Surgery
3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Jason Pierre-Paul (shoulder) underwent surgery on his injured shoulder on Thursday. The veteran pass-rusher missed the final three games of the regular season with the injury, but he returned for two playoff games. The 33-year-old could be held out of spring workouts, but barring any setbacks, he should be good to go for training camp in the summer. Pierre-Paul managed just 2.5 sacks in 12 regular season games in 2021, his lowest sack total since 2015 with the New York Giants. It's possible his shoulder injury played a big part, but as an unrestricted free agent, there's a chance he doesn't return to a Bucs team that will have many decisions to make on their roster heading into the 2022 season without quarterback Tom Brady.
