4 years agoSan Francisco Giants utility man Jason Vosler made his return to the team count in Wednesday's 5-4 win over the Diamondbacks, hitting a pinch-hit solo home run to put the Giants ahead for good. Joining the team since Brandon Belt (oblique) landed on the 10-day injured list, Vosler entered the game to bat in the eighth inning with the game tied at four. Moments after Austin Slater homered, Vosler lined an Alex Young offering into the right-field bullpen to put the Giants up 5-4. The rookie had a fantastic spring but is slashing just .200/.250/.467 in 16 plate appearances this season. He should see some at-bats over the next couple of weeks, so it will be an opportunity for Vosler to prove himself.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
