4 years agoSan Francisco Giants third baseman Jason Vosler may have a path to a role in the big leagues this season, per NBC Sports' Alex Pavlovic. Vosler, who has spent his career in the minors, signed a big league deal with the Giants in November. The 27-year-old went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one off of Walker Buehler and one off of Dustin May, in Tuesday's 1-1 tie with the Dodgers. Manager Gabe Kapler said Tuesday, "He's just been so consistent... He's barreling the ball up quite a bit." The signing of Tommy La Stella likely blocks Vosler for now, but he could make a compelling case for himself if he continues to hit this spring.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
