3 years agoThe Detroit Tigers reinstated infielder Javier Baez (thumb) from the 10-day injured list ahead of Sunday's game against the Colorado Rockies. He is batting third and will handle shortstop duties for Sunday's contest. The 29-year-old missed the 10-day minimum due to a sore right thumb. Before landing on the injured list, the former Chicago Cub slashed .316/.350/.526 with one homer and four RBI over fives games in 2022.
