4 years agoChicago Cubs shortstop Javier Baez came up big in Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader versus the Los Angeles Dodgers. Baez didn't start Game 2, but pinch-hit in the bottom of the sixth inning and would remain in the game at shortstop. El Mago came up big in the bottom of the eighth inning with two-run home run that would tie the game 3-3 at the time. Baez has been off to a nice start this season and is now hitting .245 with eight home runs, 24 RBI and six stolen bases as he enters free agency this offseason.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
