7 years agoChicago Cubs second baseman Javier Baez (back) left Monday’s game in the top of the seventh inning. Baez was in the field and it appeared that he tweaked something in his back. Baez finished 1-for-4 with a home run and three RBI. Tommy La Stella replaced Baez at second base. Baez should be considered day-to-day and more information should be known after the game.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
