4 years agoChicago Cubs shortstop Javier Baez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and hit by pitch on Monday versus the Milwaukee Brewers. Baez was hit by a pitch on his knee and fell down hard in the bottom of the sixth inning, but would stay in the game. Baez is looking to bring some of his magic back after a rough 2019 and he is now 3-for-12 with a home run, two RBI and a pair of stolen bases. Managers should feel safe deploying Baez as their everyday shortstop and he will remain motivated as an upcoming free agent.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
