3 years agoChicago Cubs shortstop Javier Baez (thumb) will be a late addition to the Cubs lineup. Baez was originally listed on the bench with a thumb injury, but felt good enough after batting practice to give it a go. Baez missed the last two games, but had three home runs in the last two contests that he has performed in. Baez will be hitting in the fourth spot of the order against Wade LeBlanc. Managers should make sure to get Baez back in their lineups with an afternoon start on Friday.
