2 years agoDetroit Tigers shortstop Javier Baez isn't in the team's lineup for a matchup with the Cleveland Guardians and right-hander Cal Quantrill on Tuesday. Baez is hitting .209 with a .245 on-base percentage, seven home runs, and three stolen bases in 273 plate appearances in his first season with the Tigers. It'll be Harold Castro getting the start at shortstop and hitting fifth against the Guardians. In 178 plate appearances this year, Castro is batting .278 with a .301 on-base percentage and four home runs.
