4 years agoChicago Cubs shortstop Javier Baez (back) will return to the lineup on Wednesday versus the Cleveland Indians. Baez left Saturday's contest with back stiffness, but was able to pinch-hit on Sunday. The shortstop was initially in Tuesday's lineup, but was scratched before the game started. Baez has been off to a good start in his walk year and is hitting .255 with eight home runs, 25 RBI and six stolen bases on the season. Baez will bat fourth on Wednesday. He should be back in all daily league lineups and he will face off against Sam Hentges Wednesday afternoon.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
