5 years agoChicago Cubs shortstop Javier Baez will rest Monday. Baez jammed his thumb on Sunday and exited that contest early. Baez underwent X-rays and they came back negative. Baez is considered day-to-day for now and will be replaced at shortstop by Addison Russell. Russell is a decent dart throw in DFS on Monday versus rookie starter Justus Sheffield.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
