7 years agoChicago Cubs second baseman Javier Baez will be batting in the eighth spot in Friday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals. This is most likely a move to make the bottom half of the lineup a bigger threat. Baez already has seven home runs and a .279 average this season. Expect his strikeout rate to go up while he has the pitcher batting behind him. This should be a short-term move, so fantasy owners should not panic.--Blake Sullivan
