3 years agoDetroit Tigers shortstop Javier Baez (thumb) won't be activated for Saturday's doubleheader against the Colorado Rockies. The All-Star infielder is close to 100 percent and is hopeful to play on Sunday. He has been sidelined since April 13 due to right thumb soreness. In the meantime, Harold Castro will cover shortstop and bat seventh versus right-hander Antonio Senzatela. Fantasy managers will have to check back on Sunday to see if Baez will actually return then.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
