3 years agoDenver Broncos rookie running back Javonte Williams had the same amount of carries (15) as backfield mate Melvin Gordon in the 15-10 loss on Sunday, but Williams out-gained him 72 to 53 for 4.8 yards per carry. The impressive rookie also caught all four of his targets in the passing game for nine additional yards. We knew coming into this Week 15 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals that running lanes wouldn't be as big as they were in last week's win over the Detroit Lions, and Denver's inability to get the running game going all day made it nearly impossible for their offense to have much success. Williams and Gordon will continue to split the backfield touches down the middle, which has been extremely frustrating for fantasy managers that roster either of them. In Week 16 against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders, Williams will be a low-end RB2 with upside because of his big-play ability.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
