3 years agoDenver Broncos rookie running back Javonte Williams and the Denver rushing attack went absolutely nowhere in the 17-13 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 16. The impressive rookie handled seven carries (the same as Melvin Gordon) and mustered just 12 yards (1.7 yards per carry), but he saved his fantasy day by finding the end zone for the Broncos lone touchdown of the afternoon. Williams added two catches on two targets for eight yards. Fantasy managers were expecting much more against a Raiders run defense that had been vulnerable this year, but the Raiders stacked the box with quarterback Drew Lock under center. Expect a better game from the Broncos ground game in Week 17 against a Los Angeles Chargers defense that just allowed 41 points to the Houston Texans.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
