3 years agoDenver Broncos rookie running back Javonte Williams is in line to make his first career NFL start on Sunday night against the Kansas City Chiefs with Melvin Gordon (hip, shoulder) doubtful to play in Week 13. And fantasy managers shouldn't worry about Williams splitting too much of the load with third-stringer Mike Boone, as head coach Vic Fangio said that the rookie will "get the bulk" of the workload. Williams has 568 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 117 carries this year and has added 27 receptions for 193 yards and another TD. He has forced the second-most missed tackles (42) and has averaged 3.57 yards after contact per attempt, which ranks sixth-best among all RBs, per Pro Football Focus.
