Javonte Williams - Week 18 Outlook for Fantasy Football
3 years agoDenver Broncos rookie running back Javonte Williams (knee) practiced in full on Friday and was removed from the final injury report for Week 18 against the Kansas City Chiefs. For one last game this season, Williams will likely split the backfield workload with teammate Melvin Gordon III. The last time Denver faced KC, Williams had a season-high 23 carries for 102 yards and caught six of nine targets for 76 yards and a touchdown, but Gordon was inactive with an injury. Williams has been very impressive in his rookie season, but his ceiling has been capped in fantasy all year long due to Gordon's presence. The tackle-breaking, big-play running back will be a low-end RB2 with quarterback Drew Lock making his third straight start.
