5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Jay Bruce (hamstring) is batting fifth and playing left field in the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader in Washington. Bruce had missed four games including the first half of the twin bill Wednesday, but his bat in the lineup is a welcome sight as he's been very good after being traded. Since arriving in Philadelphia, Bruce is hitting .306 with a .778 slugging percentage. Despite being back in the lineup, it may be wise for owners to leave Bruce on the bench for one more game as he'll need to face Max Scherzer in his first game back.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
