6 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman Jay Bruce unloaded a two-run home run in Monday's victory over the Angels. It was his third in as many days for the big left-handed bat, and he's scored six and driven in six in his this span as well. Bruce got off to a slow start this season but has certainly found his groove at the dish of late. He's worth rostering in deeper mixed leagues with his dual position eligibility, and he'll continue to put up solid power numbers batting in the middle of the M's lineup. The average may not be there for Bruce, but he won't kill you in the category either.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
