5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Samuels is preparing for another year as a multi-faceted back in an offense looking for playmakers. According to ProFootballFocus, Samuels ran 20% of his routes from the slot in 2018, the highest of any back in the NFL with 100 or more routes run. There's no doubt this is a possibility again in 2019, as the Steelers have openly said they will look to get both Samuels and starter James Conner on the field together. Last year, as a backup and spot starter in Conner's injury absence, Samuels hauled in 26 of 29 targets for 199 yards and three touchdowns. The second-year back is a great upside fantasy option in PPR formats, and if James Conner were to miss any time, Samuels immediately jumps into the RB2 discussion. His ADP of 121 is value on a silver platter since he has standalone value in 2019.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
