Jaylen Waddle Could Remain Highly Productive
2 years agoMiami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle caught 104 passes last year as a rookie, and ESPN's Dan Graziano believes that Waddle could lead the team in receiving in 2022, despite the addition of All-Pro pass-catcher Tyreek Hill. Waddle already has a connection with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who is likely to lean more on shorter, quick-hitting passes than deep bombs. Hill could also open up the field for Waddle, which will allow him to build on his impressive rookie campaign. The 23-year-old could be a Deebo Samuel-like weapon for new head coach Mike McDaniel. Most fantasy managers aren't as high on Waddle this year because of the presence of Hill, but he's still a solid WR2 target in fantasy drafts, especially in PPR leagues.
