Jaylen Waddle On Pace To Break Rookie Reception Record
3 years agoMiami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle is on pace to break Anquan Boldin's rookie receptions record of 101, as the former Alabama star has caught 77 passes for 759 yards and four receiving touchdowns through the team's first 12 games. He currently sits third in the league in receptions, and if he can continue his average of 6.4 receptions per game, this would put him on pace for 109. The speedster has averaged 9.2 targets per game since Week 8, as he has inserted himself into the weekly WR2 discussion with his current usage. With meetings against the Giants and Jets on the horizon, Waddle should be able to produce solid numbers as the fantasy playoffs inch closer.
