Jaylen Waddle Placed On COVID-19 List

2 years agoMiami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle was placed on the COVID-IR on Thursday, making it highly unlikely he plays this Sunday against the Jets. This is a massive blow for fantasy managers as Waddle as been soaking up a massive target share from Tua Tagovailoa and was set to have a big game against a beatable Jets secondary. As of now, we should assume Waddle will only miss one game, but this moved DeVante Parker up into a strong WR2 play. He should lead the Dolphins in targets and also be their main target, along with Mike Gesicki, in the red zone. For those in deeper league, Albert Wilson figures to take Waddle's slot role and could be useful as a deep league FLEX option given the matchup--Eric Samulski - RotoBaller
