Jaylen Waddle, Tua Tagovailoa Connecting Often
3 years agoThe Miami Dolphins used the sixth overall pick in this year's draft on standout wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, which reunited him with his former Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. Throughout the team's training camp practices, Waddle has been the most impressive player on the Miami offense. Will Fuller (foot) hasn't practiced since July 29, and DeVante Parker (foot) has also been sidelined. Waddle could be playing himself into a significant role with the absence of Fuller and Parker, as the two receivers have been dinged up for most of their career. Waddle has shown he is ready for a significant role because of the versatility he has shown, team reporter Barry Jackson says. "Everyone knows Waddle can catch the deep ball and take screens for long gains. But at least three times in this camp, Waddle has contorted his body to make very difficult catches, including one crossing pattern and two others where he had to elevate." With an ADP of pick 110, Waddle could prove to be one of the biggest steals of fantasy drafts. He could put up solid WR3 numbers for fantasy managers.
