Jaylen Warren Still Competing For Roster Spot
2 years agoPittsburgh Steelers undrafted rookie running back Jaylen Warren has been the team's most productive running back, both in open training camp practices and in preseason games, but he's still fighting for a spot on the 53-man roster heading into Sunday's preseason finale against the Detroit Lions. Najee Harris is the unquestioned starter, while Benny Snell Jr. is not only the incumbent No. 2, but also the back with the best special teams resume. Anthony McFarland Jr. has looked good in the preseason and also has kick-return abilities. Undrafted rookie Max Borghi is the longest shot of all to make the final roster, having joined the team last week. The 23-year-old Warren isn't a bad late-round flier in dynasty/keeper drafts, but he can be ignored in single-season fantasy formats.
