4 years agoToronto Blue Jays closer Ken Giles (forearm) received a PRP injection on Thursday to help heal his “forearm mass strain.” Giles left Sunday’s contest with the injury, and the team is hopeful that he can start throwing again in two weeks. Barring any setbacks, the right-hander could return in a week or two after that, but it could depend on where the club is in the playoff race. Anthony Bass is the top option for saves for the Blue Jays, but Rafael Dolis and Jordan Romano could be in the mix as well.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
