3 years agoMiami Marlins rookie infielder Jazz Chisholm hit a home run to lead off the game for the Marlins on Thursday. It was Chisholm's only hit of the game, as he went 1-for-4 with three strikeouts. The homer was his 10th of the season. Jazz has been struggling lately, seeing his batting average fall to .254 and his OPS to .753. He's been able to keep it from becoming a really bad slump, but it's been a while since he put up hits in bunches. The All-Star Break seems like it's coming at just the right time for Chisholm to get some rest and come back strong for the second half of his rookie year.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
