4 years agoMiami Marlins shortstop Jazz Chisholm enters the starting lineup for the first time in his career Wednesday against the Blue Jays and left-hander Hyun-Jin Ryu. Chisholm, the club’s No. 4 prospect per MLB Pipeline, entered Tuesday's game as a defensive replacement, but will now get his big league at-bats. Still just 22 years old, Chisholm skipped Triple-A entirely after producing an .877 OPS in 23 games with the Marlins’ organization following his acquisition from Arizona last year. Chisholm will have to battle Miguel Rojas and Jon Berti for playing time at short moving forward in 2020, but the position will likely be his for years to come, giving him keepers league appeal.--Jesse Borek
