4 years agoMiami Marlins rookie second baseman/shortstop Jazz Chisholm was hit by a pitch in Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. He looked to be in pain and was down in the batter's box for a while, but he was ultimately able to stay in the game. He ended up 0-for-3 with a run scored. He was visibly limping after the hit by pitch, but stayed in until the end and there were no immediate updates available after the game. The Marlins play in Boston tomorrow, and Jazz may end up with a day off if his foot swells up, but there doesn't seem to be long term concern here.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
